The Three River Annual General Meeting for 2022 will be held:Friday 18 March 7pm
Holy Trinity Hall, located behind the church at 34 Cameron Street, Launceston.
All members are welcome, and we will have plenty of membership forms on the day if you would like to renew your membership.
Our first play reading will be held at the AGM. Closed Circuit was written in the 1980's and set in the 'futuristic' 1990's, where all schools are now linked to a central computer. Face to face teaching is now obsolete. This play provokes the audience to consider where technology is leading education and what are the ramifications because of this? A play as poignant today as it was 30 years ago, especially in the light of the pandemic and online learning at home in recent years. This play lends itself to an interesting discussion - and a few laughs in between.
