We’re kicking off our 2025 One Act Play Season with a bang — and you’re invited!
Join us for the official launch of Kill Me Now 📍 Sports Garden, Launceston 📅 Wednesday 2 July 🕠 5:30–6:30pm (with mingling to follow)
Enjoy complimentary nibbles, hear from the creatives behind the season, and connect with fellow theatre lovers. Whether you’re cast, crew, or curious — we’d love to see as many of our community there as possible. Bring a friend, bring your sparkle, and help us launch this season in style!

Three River Theatre presents Kill Me Now — a whip-smart One Act Comedy Play Festival where the absurd meets the hilarious and nothing goes quite to plan.

Featuring three one-act comedies:

• The New Mrs. Jones (Dir. Jesse Apted): A darkly funny dinner party where love is on the menu… and survival is not guaranteed.
• The Actor’s Nightmare (Dir. Ryan Politis): An accountant is thrust into a chaotic stage mash-up — and the curtain waits for no one.
• Death of the Doorstep Kiss (Dir. Ashley Eyles): A dating disaster comedy where the only thing worse than the kiss… is the lead-up.

Tickets from $35–$40. Group discounts available. Come laugh, squirm, and celebrate local theatre at its most delightfully unhinged.

3. 🙋 CALL FOR VOLUNTEER USHERS
Love theatre? Want to be part of the action? We’re seeking volunteer ushers to support our upcoming season of Kill Me Now at the Earl Arts Centre.
Ushers help welcome patrons, scan tickets, and ensure everyone has a great experience. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to get involved and see the show for free!
Requirements: All volunteers must hold a valid Working with Vulnerable Persons card. If you don’t have one, we’re happy to support you through the process.
